Part II Chpts. 1-2
Describe the "parade" in Victory Square. Why does the Inner Party provide the spectacle for the proles? For the Outer Party members? Does any of this relate to our time?
Also, what is the Party's attitude toward sex, love and marriage? Why do they enforce that attitude?

The parade was weird. It was like all of a sudden all of these people were running to see these prisoners caged up. I thought it was a little random that it happened at this part in the book. I think that they don't want people there to be in love they want to have complete control over them. Earlier in the book I think it said they only let pepople get married for the purpose of having children to be members of the party.
I think that the party has the parade for the fact that they want everyone to focus their hatred away from the Party.Their View on sex is for the population of the party and not for enjoyment.
